I created marcos to enclose selected text in a buffer with different flavour of brackets.

Hi ,
it's nice. JFYI: I'm using FirstMate plugin for this
(http://plugins.jedit.org/plugins/?FirstMate). It's very convenient to use, but
unfortunately not available via plugin Manager.

Meanwhile the FirstMate plugin is available via Plugin Manager again. It contains exactly this functionality and is very convenient: You only have to type the open character and the closing one will be added automatically.

Do You think the macros are needed anyhow?
