how to prevent the error notification from popping up?

Chris Petersen
I don't know if this is a recent plugin update or something new in pre8,
but recently, if there are errors or warnings in a document (I thought
it was just PHP, but now it's happening on a css file), the error list
(which is docked) appears and replaces whatever else I was looking at in
my left dock (or shows up if nothing was visible).

I couldn't find an option anywhere to prevent this from happening.  I
like that it parses things, but having the left dock appear and take up
a third of my screen whenever I switch buffers is starting to get really
annoying, especially when most of the things it complains about are
warnings I don't care about.

Hi,

Check out the error list options:

Plugin Options -> ErrorList -> Automatically Display on Error

Thanks.  Didn't occur to me to check there -- I didn't even realize it
was a plugin.
